Creative direction, design and illustrations of a new visual identity for the Linden Centre in Yunnan, China.
Linden Centre is steeped in a rich history of ethnic tradition and folk art. For the final logo we were inspired by the traditional masks that are used to ward off evil and protect the people. With a deep sense of respect for the local culture, we created a playful logo that pays homage to the local history and community while inviting guests to first come as strangers, and then leave as family.
